It was a proud moment and a great honour for Solidaridad and our farmers from Madhya Pradesh, who are implementing the SmartAgri project, to receive words of encouragement from none other than our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the India Mobile Congress in New Delhi. The farmers logged in with their mobile phones from their villages to digitally interact with the Prime Minister. Solidaridad is committed to expanding the coverage of the smart agriculture programme, from 0.3 million farmers to 2 million farmers in a few years.
