A paper on ‘Solidaridad’s Edible Oil Programmes towards Supporting PM’s Mission on Sustainable Edible Oil’ was presented by our General Manager Suresh Motwani during the inauguration of the 11th National Seed Congress, on 21 August 2022. The event was inaugurated by Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar at the Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (RVSKVV), Gwalior, in Madhya Pradesh. The event was co-organised with RVSKVV.
Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia virtually joined the programme, while Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel was present there. The dais was shared by Ashwani Kumar, Joint Secretary, Administration & Seed, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, S.K. Rao, Vice Chancellor, RVSKVV, and Suresh Motwani, among other dignitaries.
During the three-day event, deliberations were held on new experiments in the field of improved seed production in India and a policy framework for improved production, especially for oilseeds and pulses.
